7 1/2 Guage 1/8 Scale

Carol & I have always had trains of some size. We currently have "N" Scale, "G" Scale and "1/8" Scale (also known as Inch and a half Scale).   We became full members of the Indiana Live Steamers and Mid South Live Steamers in July of 1999.

We purchased our first Locomotive, a E&S Lines F-7A in L&N paint scheme (L&N 844), at the Fall Meet of the Mid South Live Steamers in Sept of 1999.

From September 1999 to April 2000 we purchased or Kit built the following.
  • 1 Mountain Car Company Wood Caboose Kit.
  • 1 Short Line Cars Caboose Frame and Steps (Home Made Wood Caboose Body).
  • 2 LS Mfg 6' Flat Car Kits. (With Shipping Crate Seats).
  • 1 Short Line Cars 5' Gondola (With Spreader Seats).
  • 1 Tom Bee 5' Gondola (With Spreader Seats).
  • 3 Short Line Cars 5' Flat Cars ("T" Bar Seats).
  • 1 Short Line Cars 7' Bulkhead Flat Car (With Boat Seats).
  • 1 Short Line Car Engineer cars (With Boat Seat).
  • In March 2001 we added a Rail Systems SW-1500 (L&N 5019) to the fleet.
